What is Women’s Independent Cinema?
We are a DVD-of-the-month club offering great films by great women. The Women’s Independent Cinema Service offers home delivery and access to independent feature films, documentaries and animations by women filmmakers from around the world. The DVD’s are yours to keep, all for a flat monthly fee. We make it simple and convenient, and eliminate the hassle of paying for rentals, due dates, late fees or returns. Women’s Independent Cinema DVD’s are available to watch over & over again, bringing you a lifetime of independent movies in the comfort of your home.
What are the rewards… and how does it work?
It's so simple! As an affiliate you direct your friends to Women’s Independent Cinema website through links on your web site. Women’s Independent Cinema provides you with easy-to-use tools to set up, manage and monitor your links. We also make it easy for your referrals to subscribe to our program and for you to earn the $10 per-member referral fee. Plus $2.00 every month thereafter for as long as their membership is active. In addition to this you can earn another $2.00 a month if that customer becomes an Affiliate and brings in additional members.
Here is an example of our two-tiered approach to creating passive income:
First Tier:• Customer #1 Mary, becomes a member of WIC. She purchases her membership through Helen’s website WIC Affiliate Partner Program link. Helen receives $10.00 from Mary’s first month membership fees. Next month and for the life of the membership Helen receives $2.00 per month from Mary’s membership fee.
Second Tier:
• Mary invites her friend Mike to become a member of WIC. Helen receives a commission check for $2.00 every month that Mike retains his membership with WIC.
Note: Referral Fees are paid out when you (Helen) have amassed commissions of $75.00 or more.

How do I get started?
Once your application is received and accepted, we'll give you a password and direct you to a menu of tools, which include the Women’s Independent Cinema Logo and Code needed to set up our links. You will also receive regular reports and tracking statements.
Who can become an affiliate and is there a charge involved?
There is NO CHARGE required to become an affiliate. WIC welcomes everyone to participate. All sites are subject to our approval. Please note: Sites will be rejected if they promote: sexually explicit material, violence, illegal activities or discrimination based on sex, race, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
Must I have a website to become an affiliate?
In order for you to promote Women’s Independent Cinema, you must have a website and it must be operational.
When will I get paid & how much will I get paid for one or more sign ups?
Our Affiliates are paid out on a monthly cycle, provided they meet the sales threshold of $75. If the monthly threshold has not been made, your commissions will roll over into the next month sales. The commission structure is directly related to the volume of referrals that you make. Please see details above.
Do I continue to get paid after the initial referral fee for a member who has decided to continue his/her subscription?
YES. You will continue to receive a regular monthly payout as long as the customer continues their subscription with Women’s Independent Cinema.
Can I stream samples of DVD's from the Women’s Independent Cinema library onto my site? And can I bid on key words for marketing searches?
Due to copyright laws, no titles in our library are available to be shown (either in part or in entirety) on any of our affiliates' sites. Bidding on Women’s Independent Cinema. trademark or any misspellings of our trademark is strictly prohibited.
I don't live in the U.S. or Canada, can I still be an affiliate?
It is possible to become an affiliate if your site is managed outside of the U.S. or Canada. However, it is imperative that you provide substantial evidence that your website has a sizeable U.S. or Canadian audience, since only U.S. and Canadian residents are eligible to become subscribers to our service.
Who provides the links to put on my site? Or can I make my own links?
We are happy to provide you with all the links and images you will need for your website. These can be accessed through your 1ShoppingCart account, once your application has been approved and you have become an affiliate. We will not authorize the creation and use of any other links or images to promote our service.
Can I use my own email or newsletters to promote Women’s Independent Cinema?
We do not authorize the advertisement of our service through any form of media other than our own. If you have a special request or campaign, contact us prior to publication and we will discuss the details on a case-by-case basis.
Who is keeping track of how many referrals I have made?
Our third party provider, 1ShoppingCart.com, is responsible for tracking and reporting all activity from your site to ours. Each Women’s Independent Cinema link to your site has a special tracking code that records when a customer has clicked through to our site and has signed up for our service. 1ShoppingCart.com makes this transaction information readily available through logging into your 1ShoppingCart.com account. All Affiliate referral sign-ups must come through your affiliate link to our site in order for you to receive payment.
