How much does membership cost?
Membership is $21.00 a month (plus shipping and taxes). And remember, the DVD is yours to keep.

What do I receive each month?
You will receive a new DVD every month. The DVD will include Independent Films and a Documentary. Each month’s DVD is a little different because we plan on bringing you additional home entertainment programs, for example a particular month’s DVD may have a bonus comedy special segment for your enjoyment. Plus member-only benefits such as: movie reviews, contests and insights to filmmakers and directors.

Are all the films made by USA filmmakers, will there be any foreign films?
As part of the WIC acquisitions team we have film scouts placed throughout the world sourcing great films from many different film festivals. Hence our ability to bring you wonderful films, from new talented filmmakers from overseas. However, WIC draws mainly from their core of genius filmmakers who are located in the United States.

Do all WIC film collections come on DVD only?
Yes and we are looking into electronic downloading in the future, anything that might help the environment is worth checking into.

When is my billing and shipping date?
Shipping date is the middle of every month and billing date is the date you join. You will receive your WIC Monthly DVD by first class mail.

Who makes the decision on what films are selected by WIC?
Director & Writer Michealene Cristini Risley and her film selection committee, screen many, many films before choosing the very best independent films for you to watch every month in the comfort of your own home.

What ratings will my movies have?
The type of films we source offer our members a sense of true entertainment, thought provoking, quality and value.

Please Note: Each film is individually rated — if it has a rating. However, Not all of the WIC movies will have received an MPAA rating at the time of viewing. Commentary about the films will be acknowledged during the introduction of each DVD and written descriptions will also inform you whether there's sexuality, strong language or other elements that might influence whether you watch the movies with children. What if I don't like a particular selection?

How do I join or start a WIC Community?
Contact your friends, invite them to join you in watching one or more films from the Women’s Independent Cinema DVD collection. As a member of WIC you have access to the WIC blog site, a number of members share when & how they plan on getting together to watch or discuss our films.

Can I order back volumes of WIC?
No, the monthly DVD is not available through back order. However, you can purchase any of these films individually directly from the filmmakers, courtesy of the links provided by WIC on our WIC Film Library page.

Can I rent out or duplicate the DVDs?
No, we request that you do not rent or duplicate any WIC films. WIC is a DVD subscription club based private home viewing purposes only. Unauthorized uses infringe upon the copyrights of WIC and the underlying rights of the copyright holders of the motion pictures and may subject you to penalties.

Can I hold large screenings of WIC films?
As long as you have not charged a ticket fee for the screening, the answer is yes. You can request donations to cover your expenses. However, WIC is not authorized to grant permission for any non-theatrical or other screenings of the WIC films & programs. We Invite you to consult with an independent legal advisor to determine whether you need permission from the rights holders.

In the event that I want to cancel my subscription, how do I do so?
Its simple, just contact us at  Support@WICinema.com. You can check out our cancellation policy at the bottom of the  Terms of Use  page.

Can I submit a film to WIC?
Yes, please go to the  Filmmakers  page and follow the submission instructions. Please note only submit complete works.

What if I need to change my account information?
