Search Engines SEM, SEO, PPC Marketing Specialist
Women’s Independent Cinema is looking for a SEM/SEO/PPC Marketing Specialist for our online Film Club. The SEM / SEO / PPC Specialist will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the PPC and SEO for several major websites. The qualified candidate will be responsible for increasing all websites’ traffic positions through both paid and organic search. He/she will develop the strategy for, execute, manage the budget of and measure the success of all SEO, SEM and PPC efforts. The best candidate for the position will have extensive prior optimization and pay-per-click advertising experience with an impeccable track record and excellent analytic capabilities. Additionally, he or she must be comfortable working with several websites and businesses at once. Must have the skill to optimize pages for search, increase rankings, manage PPC campaigns on Yahoo, MSN as well as other 2nd and 3rd tier sites.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintain SEO and PPC campaign
- Research new initiatives to improve PPC and SEO practices
- Stay informed of the latest changes in the Search Engine marketplace and execute plans to adapt to those changes
- Track, analyze and measure the performance of all SEO for multiple websites
- Maintain and track several PPC campaigns and stay within budget and ROI
- Report weekly spending / Revenue to management
- Use search engine marketing analytics tools to constantly optimize results
- Optimize various web site components including title tags, meta-description, internal linking, site map, etc.
- Monitor overall SEO program success with regards to ranking, indexed pages, back links and report to management
- Develop key words/ listings
- Manage ROI by site, campaign and category
REQUIREMENTS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITY:
- One year overall online marketing sales experience, with at least one year of PPC experience
- Thorough knowledge of Web Analytics software
- Familiarity with managing a budget
- Analysis, data manipulation and data presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Strong analytic and quantitative abilities
- Proficiency in Excel
- Self motivator
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Compensation: Base Salary $30K plus an abundant commissions structure. Income potential unlimited

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Writing (press releases — women & media related) and editing, computer/online (such as newsletters and press information for WI Cinema’s site), public relations relating to creating an overall awareness of the product, (contacting celebrities, filmmakers, media, national radio & TV).

Women’s Independent Cinema (WI Cinema) seeks interns for the Acquisition and Distribution Department to assist with the administrative organization and data management for the WI Cinema Film & Documentary Collection. Activities include but are not limited to: reviewing and editing film descriptions, contacting filmmakers for updated information, cross-checking and assisting with the overall web site database. Candidates should be energetic with excellent communication skills, computer skills, and have a passion for the film industry.
Aside from the more specified tasks above, the candidate would also need to be comfortable with executing basic administrative assistant tasks like filing, typing and communicating via email and telephone.
